NAPSRC

With advancement of medical sciences, the life expectancy is increasing, so the number of elderly populations is also increasing. This increment has also resulted in many older people finding themselves out of their homes, deprived of social, economical and health support. They become vulnerable to dejection, deprived of their dignity, medical care. Life becomes a burden for them. It is a societal responsibility of all welfare institutions to address the problem by providing institutional care to the aged. NRCWD established the Home to take care of the aged in distress.

  •  To provide shelter, food, medical care and recreation to senior citizens who are distressed
  •  To help them to lead a dignified life without being burden to anyone
  •  To counsel the inmates to face the challenges
  •  To provide legal support if they need it
  •  To provide other services such as recreation, take them on excursion etc.
  •  To take adequate steps for their rehabilitation in their respective homes, if doable.
